Peterbilt has finished three plant expansion projects and is nearing completion of a fourth at its Denton, Texas, manufacturing facility. Located just north of the main plant (building top of photo) is a new 102,000-square-foot building for additional production and testing capacity. It is on schedule to begin operations in January. Completed improvements include additional east-side dock doors for increased receiving capacity, 17,000 square feet of new material receiving area and an automated storage and retrieval system on the second level of the building for painted hoods, cabs and sleepers.
