The Peterbilt Store Named Peterbilt North American Dealer of the Year

Recognized for outstanding fleet sales and support, The Peterbilt Store — now featuring 15 locations in seven states — has been named the 2016 Peterbilt North American Dealer of the Year.

“The Peterbilt Store has been an outstanding PACCAR partner since they joined the Peterbilt family, and it’s an absolute pleasure to present them with Peterbilt’s highest honor, one that is truly earned and deserved,” said Kyle Quinn, Peterbilt General Manager and PACCAR Vice President. “The Peterbilt Store has committed to achieving day-to-day excellence, and the results have been realized in terms of growing sales and customer satisfaction.”

The Peterbilt Store, which is now the third largest dealership group in the Peterbilt dealer network, has been a leader in Natural Gas Engine sales as well as a strong proponent of the PACCAR MX Engine platform, placing an MX engine in 64 percent of all Class 8 units it sold in 2016. PACCAR Parts purchases grew by 17 percent over all locations.

“We are honored to be recognized for our investments and efforts focused on enhancing our customers’ experience,” said John Arscott, President and CEO of The Peterbilt Store. “Our exceptional team is skilled and hard working, and committed to ensuring that our customers receive outstanding service and value at The Peterbilt Store.”

John Arscott, Greg Arscott, Vice President Southeast Region, and Jeff Arscott, Vice President Mid-Atlantic Region, accepted the award during Peterbilt’s annual Dealer Meeting, recently held in Palm Springs, Calif. In addition to recognizing the achievements of the Peterbilt dealer network, which now includes more than 350 locations, the two-day business meeting included presentations and breakout sessions, including focused overviews of the enhanced SmartLINQ connected truck technology and PACCAR’s position on the competitive landscape of the trucking industry.
